Blackjack

Six-deck blackjack: hit, stand, double (after a split as well) and one split. Dealer stands on 17. Blackjack pays 3:2.

How to play

Blackjack is played with six decks against the dealer. The goal is to finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards count at face value, tens and picture cards count 10, and an ace counts 11 or 1, whichever helps the hand.

You are dealt two cards face up and the dealer takes two, one hidden. On any two-card hand you may Hit (take another card), Stand (keep the total), Double (double the stake for exactly one more card) or Split when the two cards are a pair, playing them as two separate hands with a second stake. After a split each hand may be doubled as well. Split aces receive one card each and cannot be hit again.

The dealer draws to 17 and stands on all seventeens, including soft 17. A two-card 21 on the deal is a natural (blackjack).
