Caribbean Stud
Ante, five cards against the dealer, one card of his showing. Raise twice the ante and beat his hand; he needs ace-king to qualify.
How to play
Caribbean Stud is played against the dealer from a single deck. Place an ante and receive five cards face up. One of the dealer cards is exposed. Decide to Fold (lose the ante) or Raise, which puts twice the ante at stake.
The dealer needs ace-king or better to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, the ante pays 1:1 and the raise is returned. If the dealer qualifies, the higher five-card hand wins: the ante pays 1:1 and the raise pays by the player hand, from 1:1 for a pair up to 100:1 for a royal flush. A tie returns both bets.
- Pair or high card raise pays 1:1
- Two Pair 2:1, Three of a Kind 3:1, Straight 4:1, Flush 5:1
- Full House 7:1, Four of a Kind 20:1
- Straight Flush 50:1, Royal Flush 100:1
